The Smartest Person In The World
Who, oh who, is the smartest person in flanders, in belgium, in europe and, indeed, in the world? For 15 seasons, this battle has been raging between three prominent personalities per episode. Every day one contestant is eliminated, someone who may not be the sharpest tool in the box, but who is probably cherished at home for his or her numerous other talents. The other two contestants are through to the next episode to face a new challenger. The last man or woman standing can rightfully call himself or herself ‘the smartest person in the world’ for the next twelve months.
Erik van looy hosts flanders’ most popular game show and is assisted by two jury members whose interventions, subtle nuances or non-verbal expressions add spice to erik’s questions.
