A story about a group of friends in their thirties who are desperately trying to keep the dream alive that they once shared.

In 1994, six friends found ‘de parelvissers’ together, a flemish tv production company that quickly becomes the most successful ever. Until 26 may 2000. On that day, one of them, jan de ridder, withdraws 100 million belgian francs from the company account and disappears without a trace. His disappearance is never solved, no one ever hears from him again, every lead turns out to be a dead end. Shortly after, ‘de parelvissers’ goes bankrupt.

Five years later, piet de ridder, jan’s younger brother, invites all the erstwhile friends and colleagues for a weekend in the ardennes in hopes of finding answers to the old questions.
